Carleigh Lewis, youngest member of the Black Diamond competitive dance team has earned the honor of competing in her first solo assignment. This jazz hip-hop routine is sassy and innovative. She will debut at the annual fall student showcase on December 13th, 2015.

Local Dripping Springs actor and Lee Colee student lands lead role in “High School Musical.” Katie Haberman will be playing the iconic role of “Sharpei” which opens in November.

Summer 2015:

Appearing at the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival
as Little Red Riding Hood in the production of “Into The Woods.”

With his band “The Coast Riders, a finalist in the
Texas Regional Radio Music Awards show and back
from a tour of Singapore.  First appearance at Gruene
Hall opening for Curtis Grimes.  Jake is playing every
weekend all over Texas and Oklahoma.  His first CD
with 3 successful hits now available on iTunes.

Appearing as Thomas Jefferson in “1776” at Houston
Family Arts Center/Theatre.

Appearing as Ali Hakim in “Oklahoma” at the Grand Street
Theatre in Helena, Montana.

Now the Creative Director at “Olde Christmas Towne” in
Lubbock, TX.

appearing in new Hays County Historical Film Project.

Working as event planner/entertainment director for Disney World in Florida.

Spring 2015:

#1 Jake Ward’s 4th single is climbing up the charts
“Ignorant Bliss” He and his band The Coast Riders
are the fastest rising band coming out of Texas.
Their first album and all of their singles can be purchased
on I-Tunes.  Jake is a camp alumni who is equally at
home on stage as a vocalist, actor and dancer and
many will remember him as our headliner in “Let’s Rock
the Juke Box at Smokey Joe’s” last year.  Congrats Jake!

#2  The Black Diamond Competitive Dance Team took
home 1st place awards for their lyrical presentation of
“Casting Spells” at the Showbiz annual competition in
Texas on March 7th. Team members are Genevieve Hodge, Isabelle
Hodge, Carleigh Lewis and Siva Schwartz.  Congrats girls!!

#3  A-Team members Cassie Martin and Katie Haberman just
closed a production of “Zebra” in Dripping Springs.  Both will
also be appearing in the camp production of “42nd Street” this

#4  Sam Heaton, a camp alumni of “Oklahoma,” “The Wizard of
Oz,” “The Music Man,” and “Guys and Dolls,” and now an operatic
bass baritone has just signed on as music director for this year’s
camp production of “42nd Street.”  Welcome back Sam!  We
look forward to working with you!

#5  Also welcoming back TV’s Friday Night Lights actress,
Kathleen Griffith as assistant director and acting coach for
“42nd Street.”  This marks her 4th year with us and we are
delighted that both alumni performers and new talent will
once again benefit from her mentorship.

#6  Student of the year – Allison Francis will be presenting a concert
cabaret appearance this May as part of her senior graduation
festivities.  Inspired by Black Diamond cabaret vocalists Frank Basile and
Chick Morgan, Allison will be sharing her views of growing up
through her music and stories.  Look for time and dates online
and on Facebook!  Congrats Allison!

#7  Congrats to camp alumni Ashton Evans and fellow “To Kill A Mockingbird”
actor Ryan Odom for landing key roles in Texas State’s Theatre Dept. production of
“Medea.”  Only 9 years old both boys got rave reviews from their director
Amelia Bahr.  Look for Ashton also in “42nd Street” this summer.
